Dane (they/them) Yogadocent
Engels
Dane was drawn to the physical practise of yoga at first as means of finding strength and balance both physically and mentally during a time in their life when they felt anything but strong and balanced. Coming of age as a Queer person, the practise was something that brought them stability and resilience when they needed it most. As a student and as a teacher, they have continued to learn and deepen their understanding of yoga through further education and personal practice. Their focus when teaching a practice is for it to build strength, stability and mobility and always safety, consent and inclusion in mind: with a sprinkling of humor too!
