Djuna Couvee (they/them) Creative director, board member, dance instructor

Djuna Couvee combines their love for creativity, community, and change as creative director of Queer Gym, artist and primary school teacher. After their philosophy studies, they actively sought a more inclusive way of communicating ideas and visions. Intersectional thinking, a queer view on knowledge and world-building continue to be fundamental conceptual starting points to ensure more perspectives are included in their creative processes. 

They enjoy hosting gatherings at Queer Gym related to moving both body and mind. This has manifested in the Queer Gym Library, garden, various art workshops, the Perfect Fit and our monthly Dance Party!
