During this class you will use your own strength and body. Based on that, you will use various exercises to improve your endurance, coordination, stability and flexibility. Exercises such as the pull-up, push-up, squats and L-sit will form the basis. You will first learn these techniques and then variations and follow-up exercises will also be covered. The class is designed so that the exercises can be taught appropriately for everyone’s body and level. The name Calisthenics consists of two Greek words, namely Kallos (beauty) and Sthenos (strength) so: “beautiful strength”. Work is done in a circuit form where the whole body is trained. ¨Chest, back, shoulders, triceps, biceps, legs, calves and abs¨ : everything is covered.
