29 November
19:00 - 23:00
This event is every last Friday of the month
What does the Queer Peer Rope look like?
With a peer rope, the idea is that everyone can experiment and practice with shibari, at their own level, and one can learn from each other. This can be done alone, or with a regular (tying) partner, or with someone you meet on the peer rope. All forms of bondage are encouraged, from tying yourself, to practicing on your partner from a tutorial from a book or video (or explanation from a fellow attendee of course), from ground work to suspensions.
We start the evening at 7pm with a stretching class to warm up and get well into your body. If this isn’t your thing, you may also skip this of course! After that the peer rope starts, and if you are interested in that, there is a short workshop for beginners with the basics on safety and some knots that you can do yourself afterwards. At some events there is also an advanced workshop.
There is coffee, tea, soda, bars and for sale for a small fee. Paying by card is preferable
Otherwise, the evening looks like this:
19:00-19:45 Pre rope stretching
20:00-20:45 Rope workshops for beginners or advanced students
23:00 End Peer Rope
